Brief Introduction

   

The China University of Political Science and Law has two divisions tasked with international exchanges: The Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and the Office of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Affairs.  These two divisions are the executive and specialist departments responsible for implementing the university’s policies for foreign affairs; coordinating international exchange, cooperation, and affairs for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan; and also, managing incoming foreign exchange documents. 

The divisions’ responsibilities include: drafting the university’s international cooperation development programs; reception planning for important foreign-related events; directing and coordinating international cooperation and exchanges among the university’s colleges and departments; managing exchange plans between universities, which includes: planning, drafting agreements, implementing exchange programs, and tracking the operation of management and service; recruitment; approving foreign expert candidate applications and managing their affairs; examining and approving international conferences; developing and approving overseas study programs;  attending to passport, visa, exit-entry permits for all university staff and students on official business or study abroad, as well as applying for entry permits for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan; managing exchange and cooperation activities with Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan; and, handling other tasks delegated by university leaders.
