From March 11-12, the China Region Competition of the 4th International Criminal Court Trial Competition in English (ICCTC) was held at the Changping Campus of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). Teams from 23 prestigious law schools across the country participated in the oral round of the competition. After two days of intense contests, the CUPL team stood out with an excellent performance and snatched the championship of the China Region Competition. In May 2017, the CUPL team will compete in the finals of the ICCTC in Hague, Netherlands. In addition, the CUPL team won the first prize of the Best Written Memorial Award, and Wang Qiuyi, a member of the team, claimed the Best Oralist Award (representing the Victims' Counsel).
