On the afternoon of October 30, 2015, at Xueyuanlu Campus, CUPL Vice-President Prof. Ma Huaide met with the visiting delegation of Universidad Libre of Colombia (UNILIBRE), which included its President Dr. VICTOR HERNANDO ALVARADO ARDILA and his seven colleagues.
Prof. Ma briefed the delegation on basic information of CUPL, emphasizing that CUPL has integrated Spanish teaching into its curriculum to train students who are both proficient in law and this language, which is a blessing for the elimination of the linguistic barriers in the process of cooperation between the two sides. Prof. Ma sincerely hoped that two sides should treat this visit as a catalyst to actively push forward the cooperation between them, especially in the area of exchanging students and faculty members.
Dr. VICTOR HERNANDO ALVARADO ARDILA mentioned in his speech that it was his honor to visit CUPL and hoped that the substantive cooperation between the two sides will be established at an early date. Afterwards, the two sides held in-depth talks on potential collaborative matters like co-publishing anthologies of law studies, exchanging students, dispatching teaching staff to give lectures on the partner’s campus and so on.
