Onthe morning of October 21, 2014, CUPL President Prof. Huang Jin met with Prof.Christa Neuper,Rector of University of Graz, Austria and her party at Xueyuan Lu (Graduate) Campus. Prof. Joseph Marko, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Mr. Daniela Unger-Ullmann, Foreign Co-Director of the Confucius Institute, were among the delegation.
President Huang extended a warm welcome to the Rector and her party for their first visit to CUPL, and expressed that it was an honor for our university work together with the University of Graz.He looked forward to smooth cooperation between the two sides. In addition, our president briefed the guests on detailed information concerning CUPL, including its history, the vision and mission of its development, its discipline development, its academic levels and its overseas Confucius Institutes.
Rector Neuper thanked President Huang for hishospitality, and expressed her great pleasure that the two sides shared the same set of educational notions. Her speech concentrated on the current situation of the University of Graz, with highlights on the scale of the university, its research andacademy, and its discipline development.
In the ensuing sessions, the attendees exchanged further detailed information concerning their schools, and compared notes outlining bright prospects for working-together in thefuture.
