On the afternoon of 21 May, 2014, at Xueyuan Lu Campus, CUPL President Huang Jin met with Mr. Joao Ribeiro, the new Director of the Regional Center for Asia and Pacific under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL-RCAP).
Ribeiro expressed his gratitude for CUPL’s engaged efforts in facilitating the mutual cooperation in the past few years, and introduced UNCITRAL-RCAP’s main models of cooperating with colleges and universities, including co-organizing seminars, setting up the summer/ winter training programs for the professionals, publishing periodicals, etc.
Finally, the two sides exchanged in-depth views on how to implement such cooperation.
