On the morning of April 29, 2014, at Xueyuan Lu Campus, Vice President Zhu Yong met with Prof. David W. Lovell, Head of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) at Canberra Campus of The University of New South Wales (UNSW), and Dr. Zhang Jian, the Deputy Head of the School.
Zhu Yong suggested that, building on the cooperation in the field of exchanging scholars to lecture on each others' campus and jointly holding international seminars, both sides could also conduct cooperative research in various fields. Prof. David W. Lovell strongly approved Zhu Yong’s proposals, also putting forward further suggestions on student exchange, joint education of postgraduates, the exchange of faculty members and cooperative research.
