On the afternoon of November 4, 2013, at Xueyuan Lu Campus, President Huang Jin met with Prof. Dr. Yunus Soylet, Rector of Istanbul University (IU) and IU staff.
Huang Jin stated that CUPL attached great importance to the cooperation to IU, and hoped the talks would help create a foundation for determining specific and feasible exchange programs for the two universities’ future collaboration. Prof. Soylet expressed his wish to promote the exchange of teachers and students by working together with CUPL.
And finally, Huang Jin and Soylet signed two agreements; the Agreement on the America Frana Exchange Project, which is the platform for applying for funding granted by the Council of Higher Education (Yuksekogretim Kurulu, YOK) in Turkey, and the Agreement on Undergraduate Exchange Program, which is the platform for applying for CSC’s funding concerning international exchange programs for outstanding undergraduates.
