On the morning of November 4, 2013, at Xueyuan Lu Campus, Vice-President Zhu Yong met with visiting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of University of Canterbury (UC), Dr. Hamish Cochrane, and his party.
The hosts and guests exchanged in-depth views and reached agreements on specific issues, such as student and teacher exchanges, summer school programs, UC’s enrollment of CUPL candidates for doctoral degree who are sponsored by the China State-Funded Postgraduate Overseas Study Program, and so on. Based on the positive results of the meeting both sides agreed that an Agreement for establishing intercollegiate cooperation relationship would be signed as soon as possible.
