On the afternoon of June 3, 2013, at the Xueyuan Lu Campus, Vice President Zhu Yong met with Jocelyn F. Benson, a visiting Professor and Interim Dean of Wayne State University Law School (WSU). In a down-to-earth fashion, the two expressed their willingness to continue forward with certain cooperative activities such as an ongoing program which allows CUPL students studying in the LL.M. Program to attend WSU. Both sides also exchanged in-depth views and reached a preliminary agreement on the creation of other joint ventures, such as running an academic journal, teacher exchange, etc.
Shortly afterward, Professor Benson gave a lecture titled “The Future of Legal Education” and gave detailed answers to inquires concerning the LL.M. Program at WSU.
