On the afternoon of June 17, 2013, the donation ceremony of Inner Mongolia Zhong Yuan Heng Feng Energy & Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. was held in the VIP room, on first floor of the main office building of Changping Campus.
This year, Zhong Yuan Heng Feng donated 10 million RMB yuan to CUPL. That donation serves multiple aims: To support CUPL’s Awards to Gifted LL.M. and J.S.D. in Chinese Law Studies, to encourage LL.M. and J.S.D. candidates to actively explore legal theory and practice, to improve the ability level of research and practice, and to promote the emergence of new legal talents.
In his speech Mr. Yu Dongping, the chairperson of the Board of Zhong Yuan Heng Feng, fully acknowledged the contributions that have been made by CUPL in the field of the rule of law in China. He also expressed his hope that this donation could further promote the development of talent training, scientific research and other undertakings of CUPL, and make a contribution towards the development of the rule of law in China.
