From May 24 to 26, 2013, at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), the CUPL moot court team participated in the 6th ‘BFSU-WANHUIDA CUP’ Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition. After two days of intense debate, our varsity team was awarded the second-place prize as well as the first place prize among Chinese competing teams. In addition, the Complaint submitted by the CUPL team received the highest score and won the Best Memorandum. Furthermore, CUPL Student Wang Yubo was awarded as the Best Oral Speaker, Huang Tingli and Fu Yu were awarded as the Outstanding Oral Speakers. The CUPL team almost won a sweeping victory in this current session, which marked the best outcome since our students began participating in the competition.
