On the afternoon of April 10, 2013, at Xueyuan Lu Campus, Vice President Zhu Yong met with Ms. Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger, German Federal Minister of Justice, and eight other delegation members.
For Ms. Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger and other delegates, vice President Zhu Yong introduced CUPL's advantages in disciplines, university operations, and talent training achievements. In addition he specially briefed the visitors the current stage and development planning of CUPL's German law studies, Sino-German comparative legal research and talent training. Ms. Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger expressed her hope that, in the field of legal education and research, the exchange and cooperation between China and Germany will continue to enjoy further development.
After the meeting Ms. Sabine Leutheusser-Schnarrenberger gave a lecture titled "Aspects of the Rule of Law" to CUPL students and teachers.
