On the afternoon of December 17, in Xueyuan Lu campus, Vice President Zhu Yong met with President M.A. Mohamedien of Suez Canal University (SCU), Vice President Kamal G. Sharobim, and Prof. Muhammad A. Elzayat, the Dean of the Confucius Institute at SCU.
In accordance with a cooperation agreement signed between CUPL and SCU, the two sides agreed to enhance collaboration in certain fields as soon as possible. Areas for future collaboration include sending students to sit the other side’s courses in the middle of a semester, admitting SCU students to study in CUPL for academic degrees, mutually exchanging teachers for one to three months, translating textbooks or academic writings, and co-hosting Sino-Egyptian academic seminars.
