On November 19, 2012, the opening ceremony for an exchange student delegation from Victoria University of Wellington (VUW), New Zealand, was held on the CUPL Changping Campus. CUPL Vice President Zhang Guilin attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
In accordance with the cooperation agreement signed by CUPL and VUW, this is the third time the VUW Exchange Student Delegation visited CUPL. The delegation has 30 members. During their 21-day visit, delegates will attend lectures that are specially designed by CUPL to meet the delegation's requirements: such as “Chinese politics”, “Chinese diplomacy”, “Chinese legal system”, “Chinese constitution” and “Chinese civil society”. The delegation will also visit the Basic People’s Court of Changping District, the China Youth Volunteers Association (CYVA), the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport, the Beijing Intelligent Transportation Group, the China Central Television (CCTV), the Great Hall of the People, and the National Museum of China among other places.
