On the afternoon of September 12, 2012, at Xueyuan Lu Campus, Vice President Zhu Yong met with Prof. Pierre de Maret, former President of Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium, and Prof. Jean-Michel De WaeLe, Dean of Institute of Social and Political Science (Instituts des sciences sociales et politiques) of ULB.
Vice President Zhu welcomed Prof. Pierre de Maret and the ULB delegation, and briefed the visitors on CUPL's international development strategy based on the "2011 collaborative Innovation Plan". Prof. Pierre de Maret thanked Vice President Zhu for his attendance at the meeting, hoping that the two universities could develop cooperation and exchanges in the fields of humanities and social science, such as law, political science and sociology. Soon thereafter, both sides discussed the details of inter-university cooperation and exchange programs.
