On May 15, 2012, CUPL hosted a banquet for visitors from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and international guests attending CUPL’s 60th anniversary celebration.
The guest list included 23 presidents and vice presidents and 60 deans and scholars from 38 universities in 21 countries. Distinguished guests from the Ministry of Government Legislation of Republic of Korea, the American Bar Association, the International City Management Association (ICMA) and the Court of Final Appeal of the Hong Kong SAR also attended.
CUPL President Huang Jin expressed a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to banquet attendees. Vice President Zhu Yong presided, with Vice President Zhang Baosheng, administrators, and faculty from the Law School, Civil, Commercial and Economic Law School, School of International Law, School of Comparative Law, School of Juris Master, and the School of Political Science and Public Administration also in attendance.
