On the morning of May 16, 2012, 22 diplomats and representatives from 15 embassies and foreign representative offices attended CUPL’s 60th anniversary celebration. Attendees included: Ireland Ambassador Declan Kelleher, Denmark Ambassador Friis Arne Petersen, Slovenia Ambassador Marija Adanja, Ukraine Ambassador Kostenko Yurii, Hungary Ambassador Sandor Zoltan Kusai, Minister-Counsellor of the Delegation of the EU to China Johan Cauwenbergh, and Deputy Director of the Beijing Office of the Hong Kong SAR Yuan Minzhong. Other distinguished guests included representatives from the Embassy of Egypt, the Embassy of Austria, the Embassy of Republic of Korea, the Embassy of the United States, the Embassy of Switzerland, the Embassy of Italy, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and GIZ—Sino-Germany Legal Cooperation Program.
