Elinor Ostrom, the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in economics, came to China-EU School of Law (CESL) at China Uinversity of Political Science and Law (CUPL) on May 10, 2011, as part of a new series of lectures sponsored by Hong Kong philanthropist and social activist, Chan Sui-kau. The title of Ostrom's talk was "Cooperating for the Public Good: Self-governance, Polycentricity and Development".
