On December 13, 2011, CUPL Professor and School Council Chairperson Shi Yajun, met with the visiting senior delegation
headed by Russian Federation Justice Minister Alexander Konovalov.
Professor Shi Yajun expressed that he hoped that this official visit could become a good beginning of bilateral cooperation
between CUPL and the Russian Government. Professor Shi also expressed hope that this visit would foster
future academic exchanges between CUPL and Russian universities in the field of law and other subjects.
Minister Konovalov voiced his hope that cooperation could be established between CUPL and Russian Justice Ministry
as well as Russian Law Academy of the Ministry of Justice of RF (Moscow). He invited CUPL faculty members
and students to attend the “International Law Forum” hosted by the Russian Justice Ministry in 2012.
Following the talks, the delegation visited the CUPL Investigation Science Experimental Center.
