In the Afternoon of the 19 November, Minister - Counsellor Mark Kruger and his delegation visited our University and Vice Chancellor Zhu Yong and Minister - Counsellor Mark Kruger and his delegation held talks. Accompanying Mr Mark Kruger, was the Head of Public Affairs, Patrice Cousineau, from the Canadian Embassy. Professor Xi Tao, the Director of the Research Centre for Law and Economics, Associate Professor Jiao Jie of the School of International Law, the Head of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Xu Nan and others, attended the meeting.
Vice Chancellor Zhu Yong expressed his welcome to Mark Kruger and his colleague and also made mentioned of the state of International Exchange and Cooperation of our University in recent years. He also mentioned about the cooperation between our university and universities and research institutes in Canada. Minister - Counsellor Mark Kruger commended the results our university has gained in the area of international exchange and cooperation and also expressed his desire that through this visit, a further step may be made in development of cooperation and exchange between our university and the universities and research institutes in Canada. Both parties expressed further specific views on cooperation and exchange.
After the meeting, Minister - Counsellor Mark Kruger delivered a lecture on the subject ‘The Original Cause, the Influences and the Lessons Learned Regarding the International Financial Crisis.’
