In the afternoon of October 13, 2017, Nguyễn Khánh Ngọc, Vice Minister of Justice of Vietnam, Vũ Thị Lan Anh, Vice President of Hanoi Law University (HLU) and other three Vietnamese guests visited the Xueyuanlu campus of CUPL. Prof. Ma Huaide, Vice President of CUPL, welcomed them on behalf of the school. Yin Xuemei, Deputy Director General, International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Justice of the P.R.C., and others accompanied during the visit.

Prof. Ma first extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Vice Minister Nguyễn Khánh Ngọc, and gave the delegation a brief introduction of CUPL. Vice Minister Nguyễn Khánh Ngọc expressed appreciation on the warm welcome and introduction and said that the Vietnamese government had attached great importance to the training of legal talents. He said that it is satisfying to see the cooperation between CUPL and HLU. He also expressed the wish to see strengthened cooperation between the two sides in the field of theory and practices, student training as well as vocational training.

Then, Vũ Thị Lan Anh gave a detailed introduction on the Hanoi Law University, and warmly invited CUPL faculty and students enroll in exchange programs in Vietnam. The two sides could also jointly organize academic seminars, cooperation and researches, faculty exchanges, student exchange programs at various levels, and moot courts and so on.
