As we all know, China is now coping with a public health emergency caused by the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Epidemic. Beijing municipality has declared the highest level of public health emergency in response to the new coronavirus prevention and control measures are being taken in an orderly manner. According to the unified arrangements of the Ministry of Education and Beijing Municipal Government, our University has decided to postpone the 2020 spring semester. Hereby, we wish to bring the following matters to your special attention.
Firstly, please NOT TO return to CUPL until you get further notice about the new starting date of the semester from the university. Hope you can understand that this is very important for personal and public safety. If you already booked the ticket, please manage the refund or alteration issues in time. If there is a special case, please ask the permission first from the School of International Education/Hong Kong,Macao&Taiwan Students Education Center at least in 2-day advance .
Secondly, in light of the current situation, we sincerely hope that all of you will abide by the instructions issue by the government and will take all necessary precautions: avoid going to crowded places or public gatherings, wear medical masks correctly and wash hands regularly. If you have symptoms of cough, fever fatigue, etc., please inform us immediately and seek medical help.
Thirdly, all classes of the next semester will be delivered temporally online until the epidemic ends. Please search “学习通” (“xue xi tong” in Pinyin)in App store or scan the QR code below. We will give you further instructions about it later on.
The epidemic is unexpected and unpredictable, we are very sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. Currently we are in the crucial period of the epidemic situation.
