The World Trade Organization (WTO) is experiencing a crisis. It is a crisis about balance between liberalism and protectionism, and between multilateralism and unilateralism. More than ever before, the world needs communication and exchange of ideas among countries to enhance mutual understanding and trust. For this series of lectures, we have invited Professor Gary N. Horlick who is a world-well-known expert in WTO law and trade remedy law from the United States to share his ideas on the future paths of global trade rules, and also his ideas on some of the legal issues related to the WTO law. We sincerely invite scholars and students to join this conversation!
